Barbara E. McCormick, 66, of Rushville died at 7:20 p.m. April 12, 2012, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born April 2, 1946, in Evanston, the daughter of Marvin and Elizabeth Grill Shabel. She married David R. McCormick on Sept. 13, 1997, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Lori Neville of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Danny Sanchez and Mark Sanchez, both of Austin, Texas; one brother, Bob Shabel of Quincy; and six grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
Cremation rites were accorded. There was no service. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
