Patricia J. "Patti" Martindale, 61, of rural Lewistown died at 2:45 a.m. July 9, 2011, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Canton, a daughter of Paul and E. Marcia Baum Shawgo. She married Gregg Martindale on Feb. 16, 2001, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are her father of Lewistown; two children, Rich (and Robyn) Bainter of Austin, Texas, and Missi (and Sam) Thomas of Canton; one sister, Sandra (and James) Maxwell of St. David; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
She was the vice president and head cashier at Farmers State Bank of Fulton County in Lewistown, where she had worked for 29 years.
She was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Lewistown, Lewistown Professional Women's Club and in Fulton County Democratic Party. She was a former member of Fulton County Board.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life and memorial service were held Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Kathy Barrett officiating.
