David MaceDavid E. Mace, 75, of Rushville died at 8:50 p.m. Feb. 5, 2011, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

He was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Woodstock Township, Schuyler County, a son of Harold Albert and Beulah A. Kennedy Mace.

Surviving are one brother, Paul William (and Carolyn) Mace of North Little Rock, Ark.; two nieces, Paula (and Bryce) Mace Faulkner and Meri (and Dennis) Mace Devore; one nephew, John Mark (and Carla) Mace; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Mace.

He served in the United States Air Force.

He was an antique and art dealer and did custom art and framing.

He was a member of Rushville First Southern Baptist Church, Schuyler Arts Council, Schuy-Rush Chapter of IL Audubon Society and volunteered at Abraham Lincoln Museum in Springfield. He provided a home for foreign exchange students at Rushville/Industry High School over the years.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Langford Cemetery in Woodstock Township. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
