Kathryn Jean “Kathy” Miller, 53, of Rushville died at 3:40 a.m. May 24, 2010, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Jan. 5, 1957, a daughter of John Ivy Miller and Letha Fern Sheely Miller Everly in Lafayette, La.
Surviving are three sisters, Karen DeMoss of Rushville, Kimberly Drayer and Kristine Miller; three brothers, Kermit Miller of Minneapolis, Minn., Kevin Miller of Rushville and Kent Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was employed by Bartlow Brothers Meat Packing Plant for several years and was a prep cook at Brown’s Restaurant before retiring due to ill health.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
