She was born Aug. 29, 1951, in Galesburg, the daughter of John and Rachel Dalton Derham Jr. She married Mark A. Metz on Aug. 31, 1969, in Knoxville. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Knoxville; one son, Michael A. (and Nicole) Metz of Havana; two daughters, Michelle R. (and Sam) Behymer of Cuba and Rebecca K. (and Troy) Kirgan of Maquon; one brother, Robert N. (and Lori) Derham of Knoxville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She worked in healthcare as a nursing assistant for many years before retiring in 2002.
She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Knoxville.
