She was born June 27, 1923, in Bryant, a daughter of Loren and Ruth Freeman. She married Donald Bucy on Oct. 14, 1940, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died March 30, 1980. She later married Jewell Moore. He died March 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip Bucy of Pawleys Island, S.C., and Jewel (and Janis) Bucy of Lewistown; two daughters, Phyllis (and Tom) Groutage of Carterville and Pam (and Dave) Gamber of East Peoria; one sister, Shirley Osborne of Havana; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She worked at Caterpillar in East Peoria and Attwood in Havana.
She was a member of Havana VFW Auxiliary.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Chaplain Dwight Winnett officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
