Frederick MorganFrederick MorganFrederick A. “Freddy” Morgan, 67, of Beardstown was pronounced dead at 10:49 a.m. May 18, 2007, in Isabel Township, Fulton County, as a result of a car accident.
He was born June 6, 1939, in Beardstown, a son of Jacob P. and Martha V. Reinhardt Morgan.
Surviving are two brothers, Kent (and Linda) of Seattle, Wash., and Mark (and Carol) of Leesburg, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for 22 years as a First Mate for the Ohio Barge Line.
He was a member of the Beardstown VFW Post, Beardstown Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Danie deBeer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
