William MorganWilliam C. “Bill” Morgan, 77, of Lewistown died at 11:36 p.m. March 22, 2007, at his home.

He was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Loveland, Colo., a son of Ura L. and Hattie McAllister Morgan. He first married Lois H. Huckenpahler. She preceded him in death. He later married Penny Howard on June 22, 1985, in Bath. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Ron (and Cheryl) Morgan of Indianapolis, Ind., Alan (and Regina) Morgan of Washington, Art (and Heidi) Morgan of Holden, Maine, and Troy (and Laura) Howard of Dunfermline; one daughter, Tori (and Jim) Schneider of Lewistown; one brother, Donald D. (and Patricia) of Lakewood, Colo.; one sister, Helen Huckenpahler of Lakewood, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1954.

He was a consulting engineer for 53 years for Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria.

He was a member of the Society of Mining Engineers and Professional Engineers. He graduated in 1952 from Colorado State University.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Eureka.

Cremation was accorded. Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Jim Poole officiating.
