Scott Mize

Scott MizeScott Roger Mize, 55, of Bloomington died Sept. 10, 2006, at the Harmon Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was born July 14, 1951, in Porales, New Mexico. He married Cathy Jean Livingston on June 14, 1975, in Sibley. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, LaVet Stevens of Roseville, Calif.; his father and stepmother, Ermon "Scooter" and Ann Mize of rural Armington; and two half sisters, Tammi (and Murry "Shot") Bohnert of Yukon, Okla., and Vicki (and Warren) Brucker of Mustang, Okla.

He was a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 63 in Bloomington for 19 years and Carpenters Union Local No. 1977 in Las Vegas for 13 years. He retired recently because of health problems, but continued his Carpenters Union Local No. 1977 membership.

Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Point Pleasant Cemetery in rural Marietta, where there will be an informal gathering and the family will greet friends. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
