Sylvester G. "Buster" Morgan, 81, of Table Grove died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Countryview Care Center in Macomb.
He was born Oct. 24, 1924, in Arkansas City, Kan., a son of Harry C. and Dela Graham Morgan. He married Oletha M. Smith on June 4, 1945, in Newkirk, Okla. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Janice (and Larry) Inman of Table Grove; one brother, Delbert of Arkansas City; one sister, Veva Schrills of Belton, Mo.; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Poore and Shirley Morgan.
He was a construction superintendent, working for many years for a company specializing in church construction. He built churches throughout the United States over his career prior to retiring in Table Grove in 1987.
He volunteered for many projects in Table Grove and in El Salvador building churches.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery west of Table Grove.
