Marshall McClellandMarshall McClellandMarshall K. McClelland, 80, of Chicago, formerly of Vermont, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Astoria, a son of Milford and Irene Kerrigan McClelland.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
A self-employed writer, he had worked for Stars and Stripes.
Cremation has been accorded, and private burial of ashes will be in Vermont Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb.
