JoAnn McEntire, 71, of Industry, formerly of Beardstown, died at 2:02 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at her home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1932, in Sangamon County, a daughter of Wilbert and Olive Reynolds Tremain. She married Bradford McEntire on Feb. 16, 1952, in Macomb. He died Jan. 22, 2001.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are one son, Kenneth (and Connie) of Colchester; one daughter, Alice Rowland of Industry; one sister, Martha Vaughn of Ipava; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a bookkeeper for her husband's business for several years before retiring.
Services were held Friday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home with Scott Jones officiating. Burial was in the Industry Cemetery. Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program in Macomb or any charity.
