June Miller

June A. Miller, 65, of Cuba died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born March 4, 1937, in Canton, a daughter of Raymond W. and Adelaide Viano Barnes. She married Eldon L. Miller on Jan. 30, 1965, in Canton. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother of Canton; two sons, Stanton (and Lori) of Smithfield and Landon (and Tricia) of Cuba; three daughters, Deeda (and Troy) Williams of Bloomington, Tamrah Miller of Kankakee and Janiene Miller of Smithfield; two sisters, Irma (and James) Hootman of Cuba and Vergie (and Ed) Churchill of Ipava; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.

She received an associate's degree from the former Canton Community College. She also had attended Bradley University and Western Illinois University.

She was an active farmer in the rural Cuba and Smithfield areas.

She was a member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Women's Committee.

She was a 4-H leader for the Cuba Big 10 4-H Club.

She was a member of Smithfield Brock United Methodist Church in Smithfield and its choir.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at her church with Rev. Stacey Tomich officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield.
