Clyde Mason

Clyde Mason, 75, of Cuba died at 9:25 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Graham Hospital Extended Care in Canton.

He was born Jan. 25, 1927, in rural Smithfield, a son of George and Mabel Gray Mason.

Surviving are two sons, Gary (and Leona "Onie") of rural Lewistown and Terry (and Beth) of Table Grove; one daughter, JoAnne Robertson of Ipava; two sisters, Georgia Stambaugh of rural Cuba and Lena Mae Franklin of Canton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation, Fulton County Division until retiring in 1992. He also had farmed in the Cuba area for many years.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Cass-Putman Rescue Squad.
