Lois J. Mouser, 73, of Lillian, Ala., formerly of Vermont, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Pensacola West Florida Medical Center in Pensacola, Fla.
She was born Feb. 23, 1926, in Macomb, the daughter of Verne and Frances Miller Keeney. She married Albert Spiller on Sept. 25, 1945. He preceded her in death. She married Hursel Mouser in 1978. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Florida; two stepsons, Rodney Mouser of Bethalto and Robert Mouser of Birmingham, Ala.; two daughters, Denise Creekmore of New Orleans and Debbie Bush of Edwardsville; and four grandchildren.
Her father preceded her in death.
She worked at Montgomery Ward in the Wood River area, where she lived since she was 20, before moving to Lillian in 1991.
Graveside services were held today at 11 a.m. in Vermont Cemetery in Vermont. Corman Memorial Home in Roseville was in charge of arrangements.
