Isabelle L. Moss, 81, of Canton died at 6:15 a.m. Monday, May 11, 1998, at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton.
She was born Feb. 5, 1917, in Astoria, a daughter of Glenn and Anna Bair Brown. She married Wayne Jett on Dec. 22, 1934, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Aug. 12, 1975. She later married Leon F. Moss on March 12, 1983 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Rex Jett of Canton; one daughter, DeEtt Hummel of Lewistown; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Parrish of Canton; and Lodella Lee Parrish of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Canton and its Tusitala Class. She also was a member of Canton Women of the Moose and the Canton Women’s Club. She was formerly a volunteer at Zeller Zone in Peoria.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Jay Curry and Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
