Virginia Sue “Susie” Moose, 57, of Astoria, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 1995, at her home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1938, in Hays, Kan., a daughter of Clair B. and Margaret Jane Condit Bader. She married Don D. Moose on Feb. 14, 1958, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Melanie Gutierrez of Wolfforth, Texas, and Pam Klinebough of Astoria; one sister, Betty Hogate of Placitas, N.M.; and one grandson.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
She was a bookkeeper at Bader Motor Co. and then was a teller at Astoria Building and Loan. She was a member of Astoria American Legion Auxiliary. She attended Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Schultz officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
