Orlan Morey

Orlan E. Morey, 69, of Anna, died at 7:57 a.m. Friday, June 9, 1995 at his home.

He was born July 30, 1925 in New Philadelphia, the son of Charles Frederick and Jennie Ethel Moore Morey. He married Barbara J. Schisler Jan. 23, 1972 in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, James Orlan Morey of Kingsland, Ga. and Wade Morey of Anna; three grandchildren, Marie, Kayla and Melissa Morey; and other relatives.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy SeaBees in W.W. II and a member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 VFW in Anna. He was a welder for Transcraft Manufacturing in Anna.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 12 at the Anna City Cemetery with Rev. Larry Shacklee, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Anna officiating. Interment with full military honors by the Anna VFW Post #3455 was in the Anna City Cemetery.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
