Orvy McCoy Jr., 72, of Beardstown died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at his residence.
He was born July 27, 1922 in Mason County, a son of Orvy and Rosie Cloyes McCoy Sr. He married Evelyn Eula Sprinkle in 1962. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother of Beardstown; one son, Terry of Browning; one daughter, Nancy Prucha of Naperville; one stepson, Frank Mansfield of Beardstown; two stepdaughters, Linda Gann of Beardstown and Brenda Mills of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Melvin of Beardstown; three sisters, Maxine Gordon of Fort Madison, Iowa, Roxina Sullivan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Betty Bowman of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Cline Funeral Home. Burial was in Beardstown City Cemetery.
