Beatrice Miletta, 70, of Springfield, died at 2:13 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 1990, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born July 25, 1920, in Bluff City, the daughter of Clifford and Kathryn (Markley) Rose. She married John F. Miletta in 1940. She was preceded in death by one son, John Edward, and a brother.
Mrs. Miletta had been a resident of Springfield since 1952. She was an executive secretary for the State of Illinois for many years.
She was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception and a charter member of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Bishop Griffin Assembly.
Surviving is her husband, John.
Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 1990, at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception with Rev. Doug Lichtenberger officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Staab Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
