VeteranJoseph Mosher Dies In Colorado

Joseph Mosher, 69, of Denver, Colo., formerly of the Ipava area, died Oct. 10, 1990, at his home.

He was born Dec. 25, 1920, at Cuba, Ill., the son of Oren J. and Margaret M. (Gore) Mosher. He married Alice Arlene Doty of Brook, Ind. in 1946. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Robert Mosher of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Beverly Mosher of Westminster, Colo.; his father of the Prairie City (Ill.) Nursing Home; one granddaughter, Amanda Mosher of Gleenwood Springs, Colo.; one brother, William V. Mosher of Shelbyville, Ill.; and one sister, Hazel L. Nelson of Holbrook, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his mother and an infant sister.

Mr. Mosher was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. He graduated from Ipava High School and served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1983.

Funeral services were held on Oct. 12. Interment was in Highland Memorial Gardens in Northglenn, Colo.
