Vernon Morrison Of Lewistown DiesVernon Morrison Of Lewistown DiesVernon E. Morrison, 69, of rural Lewistown died at his home at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1990.
He was born July 8, 1920, in Kidder County, N.D., a son of William and Effie Chillinger Morrison. He married Nellie Wallick at Lewistown on March 14, 1950. She survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Raymond of Macomb and Wesley of Velva, N.D.; and four sisters, Mildred Darst of Galesburg, Doris Wheeler of Marietta, Delores Speed and Beatrice Hopton, both of Los Angeles.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a farmer in the area and also owned and operated a custom bulldozing business. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Ipava American Legion Post and Operating Engineers Union.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
