Rosamond Mathewson, 87, of Fondulac Nursing Manor, formerly of Washington, died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 1990, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Sept. 20, 1902, in Table Grove, the daughter of Nelson and Clara (Hickman) Haist.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Dale Mathewson Jr., five brothers and one sister.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services were held at Harris Cemetery in Table Grove with Rev. Ed Beasley officiating. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Northern Tazewell Rescue Squad.
