John J. McAuliffe, 79, of rural Ipava, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1985, at Springfield Memorial Medical Center.
He was born July 18, 1906, in Chicago, the son of John and Mary (Maroney) McAuliffe. He married Helen Little. She survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Helen Marquis of River Forest and Miss Marie McAuliffe of Elmwood Park.
He was a retired industrial engineer.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Shawgo Memorial Home, Ipava, was in charge of arrangements.
