William G. Mitchell, 81, of Table Grove died at 4:52 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 1980, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He had been a barber in Table Grove 55 years.
Born Aug. 30, 1898, in Marion County, Mo., a son of John and Rosa Nunn Mitchell, he married Achsa B. Battin at Keokuk, Iowa, May 18, 1926.
Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Marsha E. Savich of Culver City, Calif.
One son and one brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon in the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Carl Anderson officiating. Burial is to be in Pennington Point Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Modern Martha Class of the church.
