BROWNING — Martha Miller was born in Pike Co., Ill., Sept. 20th, 1854. Departed this life at her home in Browning, Sept. 23rd, 1920, aged 66 years and three days. She was married to Alexander McCombs Aug. 20th, 1871. To this union were born 8 children, Granville, Taylor, Reece and Martin are living in Browning township, three died in infancy and one daughter, Mrs. Nathaniel Stambaugh preceded her mother in 1909. Besides husband and sons she leaves one sister of Peoria and one brother, James Miller of Browning, Ill. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ Saturday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev. J. M. Walton. Interment in the Browning cemetery.
