VERMONT — After many years of suffering and ill health death came to Mrs. A. N. Matheny at their home in Wayne Nebr., Monday afternoon, June 28, 1920, at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 14 days, terminating a gradual failure of many years standing. Luella Mellor was born at Vermont, Illinois, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mellor who with one brother, Robert E. K. Mellor preceded her to the great beyond. She is survived by her husband, Andrew N. Matheny, and son William B. McCabe of Omaha, and a brother, George Mellor, of Malvern, Iowa. The funeral was held from her late home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Beard, her pastor officiating, and was attended by many relatives and friends.
