EDWARD O. McLAREN

E. O. McLaren Dead.

Edward O. McLaren, who about a year ago went to the Odd Fellows Home at Mattoon, Ill., died at that place, Friday, Sept. 30, aged 62 years and 26 days. Death was due to heart failure.

The deceased was the son of Peter and Lucinda McLaren both deceased and was born in Woodland township. He was never married. He leaves to mourn his death two brothers, Robert of Rushville, and Chas, of Astoria, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Toler and Mrs. Fanny McPherson, one half brother, Sherman and a half sister, Mrs. Ellen Aten.

The funeral services were held Sunday from the residence of his sister, Mary Toler, Rev. C. M. Wilson officiating. The orders I. O. O. F. and K. of P. conducted ritualistic services at the grave. Interment in the Astoria cemetery.
