LEWISTOWN — Alexander Massie, one of the town’s old citizens, and a soldier in the Civil War, died at his home in this city on Wednesday morning of last week after a brief illness. The cause of death was typhoid fever augmented by an attack of kidney trouble. His age was 61 years.
