MARGARET M. (MILLER) MILLER-SMITH

Mrs. Margaret Miller-Smith

RAY — It is with sadness we announce the death of our cousin, Mrs. Margaret Miller-Smith. Margaret M. Miller was born Jan. 6th, 1877, near Rushville, and died August 26, 1902, aged about 25 years. Margaret was educated in the public schools at Rushville and lived with the writer's family three years and was almost as dear as a sister to the writer. She never gave anyone a cross look or unkind word and was admired for her sweet disposition. About three years ago she was married to Will Smith, of Lewistown, who with a babe less than two years of age and a fond mother, sister and five brothers, are left to mourn her loss, beside many other relatives and friends. A few months ago Margaret was stricken with that dread disease, consumption, and was taken to the home of her mother, Mrs. Richard Burge, in Lewistown, where she passed away peacefully after bidding her loved ones good-bye. She has been a faithful Christian since 1898.
