VERMONT — Mrs. James Matheny, who has long been a great sufferer with incipient consumption, died at her home in Vermont Tuesday evening of last week. Thursday following at 2 o'clock, she was placed to rest in the cemetery here, Rev. Leach, of the M. E. persuasion, conducting the services. Her sweet spirit has flown to the realms of the blest, that beautiful land of light, where the weary are at rest and it is one delightful summer always. When the roll is called we hope to be there.
