AGNES (NEFF) MOUL

Agnes Moul

Mrs. Agnes Moul, daughter of Henry and Rebecca Neff, was born in New York county, Pa., on the 10th of May 1851, died March 25th, 1893 after an illness of over a year's duration, of consumption, aged forty-one years, ten months and fifteen days. In the spring of 1873 she came with her parents to Astoria, Ill., and on the 30th of Nov. in the same year. She was united in marriage to Conrad B. Moul. There were four children born to this union: one boy and three girls; the child born July 16th, 1875 preceded his mother across the dark river at the age of four years, and her husband and the three girls aged respectively eight, twelve and fifteen years survive her. At about eighteen years of age she united with the German Reformed church in Pa., and in 1875 she united with the Presbyterian church at Astoria of which denomination she remained until death. She was a dutiful wife and a devoted christian mother, respected by all who knew her and all feel assured that their loss is her eternal gain.
