Joyce LitchfieldJoyce Ann Litchfield, 83, of rural Macomb died at 3:18 p.m. Jan. 18, 2023.

She was born May 22, 1939, in Industry, a daughter of Guy and Ruth Heaton Aten. She married Marshall Litchfield in 1958 in Industry. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Bozard.

Surviving are three sons, Jay Litchfield of Tulsa, Okla., Kendell (and Suzanne) Litchfield of rural Macomb and Steven Litchfield of Norris; two brothers, Neil (and Phyllis) Aten and Jim Aten; two sisters, Connie (and Bill) Heitman and Bonnie (and John) Britton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She helped establish a young adult Sunday school class, worked behind the scenes to enable Marshall to preach at Doddsville United Methodist Church for 25 plus years, and was involved in many of the church’s missions.

She served her community by being a member of McDonough County Farm Bureau Women, served on the Macomb school board and was an advocate for the farming community.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Industry United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Industry Cemetery. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Industry Fire Department and Doddsville United Methodist Church.
