She was born June 8, 1920, in Ipava, the daughter of Clifford and Pha Aten Heaton.
Surviving are one son, Norman (and Connie) LaRue of Macomb; one daughter, Carolyn Carmack of Macomb; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale, Gene and Robert.
She worked as a waitress for several years and for Lutheran Social Services. She also drove for the elderly for many years when she was younger.
She was of Presbyterian Faith.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funneral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
