He was born July 4, 1943, in Canton, a son of Allen and Wilma Burgett Lowe. He married Rose Lowry on Oct. 25, 1964, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Terri (and Keith) Pierson of Walnut and Tim (and Kristi) Lowe of Galesburg; two sisters, Linda (and Marvin) Vaughn of Havana and Joyce Leezer of Lewistown; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bob” Lowe; and one grandson, Heith Pierson.
He worked at Caterpillar for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Havana.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Mike Henson officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
