She was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Beardstown, a daughter of Fred and Norma Jean Hay Mayes. She married Dennis Lang on Nov. 3, 1983, in Beardstown. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Tosha DeAnn Lang of Racine, Wis., Tara Michele Lang of Bonnie Lake, Wash., and Laura Lee Zillion of Beardstown; two stepsons, Matthew Alan Lang of Loami and Jason Paul Lang of Springfield; one brother, Bob (and Sue) Mayes of Pleasant Plains; two sisters, Debbie (and Tony) Martin of Beardstown and Ruth Ann (and Butch) Hobrock of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna DeAnn Maltby; and one brother, Fred Mayes Jr.
She was employed by Cline Funeral Home in Beardstown. She was of the Jehovah Witness faith.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rushville City Cemetery with Elder Robin Raymer officiating. There will be no visitation. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
