Bonnie LisenbeeBonnie L. Lisenbee, 74, of Rushville died at 1:58 p.m. Dec. 18, 2015, at the Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 13, 1941, in Macomb, a daughter of Gaylord and M. Eloise Gillette Melvin. She married William “Bill” Lisenbee on Jan. 26, 2008, in Rushville. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Amber (and Travis) Quinn of Littleton; one son, Andee (and Amy) Ambrosius of Rushville; one stepson, David Meharg of Roodhouse; one stepdaughter, Nancy Davis (and companion James Derry) of Beardstown; two sisters, Gayleen (and Richard “Dick”) Gillette and Lyn Flowers, both of Rushville; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Melvin.

She graduated from Rushville High School in 1959. She first owned and operated Ambrosius Accounting Service in Rushville. She later received her administrator’s license and served as the administrator of Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville. She later worked as a dispatcher and office manager for Rushville Truck Lines and Hood Transportation, both in Rushville. She and her husband owned and operated Lazy L Trucking.

She was a former member of the Women of the Moose.

Services were held Tuesday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Charla Meyers officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
