Dick LoganRichard L. “Dick” Logan, 69, of Rushville died at 12:07 p.m. Nov. 3, 2015, at Heritage Health in Beardstown.

He was born Jan. 3, 1946, in Rushville, a son of James O. “Bud” and Z. Aline Rebman Logan. He married Louise Enloe on Aug. 10, 1962, in Salem, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Thelma (and Marty) Ralston of Rushville; one son, Allen (and Hollie) Logan of Rushville; one sister, Nancy (and Dave) Stoneking of Rushville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, George “Buckwheat” Logan and Dannie Logan; and one sister, Dixie Shepherd.

He worked in the timber and lead mine industries in Southern Missouri. For 30 years, he was an independent truck driver as well as worked with various companies. He retired from Rushville Truck Lines due to ill health.

He was a member of the Schuy-Rush Park Board and a member of the former Rushville Jaycees. He attended Rushville Assembly of God Church.

Graveside services were held Friday at the Rushville City Cemetery with Pastor Terry Lucas officiating. Wood Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
