Mary M. Lashbrook, 77, of Rushville died at 10:50 p.m. June 21, 2014, at her residence.
She was born April 20, 1937, in Philadelphia, Ill., a daughter of Charles and Mary Ellen Sherrill Briggs. She married Donald “Joe” Lashbrook on Oct. 12, 1974, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Mark Newingham of Pearland, Texas, and Andrew Tweedie of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Vicki (and partner Leslie) Newingham of Chetek, Wis.; two sisters, Jackie (and Roger) Egert of Kent, Wash., and Jo Force of Virginia, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Rushville Moose Lodge #506 from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. Inurnment will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia with Rev. Carl Wiggins officiating.
