Debra LawDebra Dee Law, 59, of Rushville died at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 2011, at her home.

She was born March 18, 1952, in Savanna, a daughter of Richard N. and Gloria A. Workman Law.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Gloria and Wayne Tomlinson of Rushville; stepmother, Lois Jean Law of Montgomery; one brother, Rick L. (and Rosemary) Law of Oswego; two sisters, Kristi (and Innocent) Okoye of Naperville and Lynn (and Don) Detzler of Oswego; three stepbrothers, Craig (and Lynn) Tomlinson, Brian (and Susan) Tomlinson, all of Rushville, and Scott (and Evelyn) Simon of Oswego; and four stepsisters, Jean (and Norm) Kloker and Cathryn Tomlinson, both of Rushville, Patti Kay (and Jack) Hendon of Galesburg and Lori (and Rocky) Shryock of Oswego.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Randall Kim Law.

She was a 1970 graduate of Oswego High School and attended Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, studying nursing.

She first worked as an aide at North Aurora Center. She then began her career in graphic arts working for Valley Instant Printing in Aurora, the Virginia Gazette and Beardstown Gazette, Apple Tree Press in Rushville and Western Illinois University printing department for 10 years, retiring due to declining health. She then assisted with bookkeeping with BT Technologies in Rushville.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Phoenix Opera House in Rushville. Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the donor's local humane society.
