Lisa LogsdonLisa Jean Logsdon, 45, of Marathon, Wis., formerly of Rushville, died at 8:27 p.m. Aug. 19, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

She was born July 5, 1961, in Quincy, a daughter of Gene and Patsy Gust Logsdon.

She graduated from Rushville High School in 1979. She continued her education, earning her LPN licensure from Blessing Hospital in Quincy in 1981. She obtained emergency medical training certification in 1982. In 1986, she earned an associates degree in nursing from Illinois Central College in East Peoria.

She taught emergency medical training in Schuyler County from 1982 to 1985 and was employed as a registered nurse at Proctor Hospital in Peoria for several years before moving to Nashville in 1994. She moved to Wausau, Wis., in 2000. She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Wyoming. She was pursuing a masters degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming.

She was most recently employed as a radiology special procedures and cardiac cath/electrophysiology lab nurse at the Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Weston, Wis.
Surviving are her significant other, Dr. Mark DeClute of Marathon; four aunts, Wanda (and Robert) Wheelhouse, Karen (and Steve) Beghtol, Jo (and Don) Shaw, all of Rushville, and Sandy (and Bill) Wilkins of Petersburg; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. Inurnment will be at Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
