Gail Lehman

E. Gail Lehman, 87, of Lewistown died at 7:54 a.m. July 22, 2006, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Ipava, a son of William H. and Marian L. Paul Lehman.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Keith (and Christy) of Vermont and Larry (and Malina) of Lewistown; one sister, Alice Vanlandingham of Clinton, Wis.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, Bruce; two brothers, Paul and Donald; and one sister, Helen Vanderschoor.

He was a life-long farmer and a member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau. He also was a member of First Baptist Church of Lewistown.

Services were held Tuesday at his church with Rev. Gregg Searles officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
