MILDRED (LANE) KOLVES LOWDER

Mildred Lowder

Mildred Kolves Lowder, 81, of Havana died at 4:15 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at Mason City Area Nursing Home in Mason City.

She was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Mason County, the daughter of Frank and Mary Weatherbee Lane. She married Clinton Kolves on Feb. 1, 1944, in Easton. He died Dec. 11, 1991.

She later married Melvin A. Lowder on Sept. 11, 1992. He died Aug. 3, 1993.

She also was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving are one son, Dwight (and Lisa) Kolves of Havana; one daughter, Bernice (and Dave) Coil of Browning; two grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and four great-grandchildren.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Havana.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at her church, where visitation will be two hours before services. Rev. Dave Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church.
