Blanche M. Lowe, 100, of Canton, died at 8:42 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in the Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.
She was born May 28, 1898, in Banner Township, a daughter of Marshall and Mary Jane Bedwell Wages. She married William C. Lowe on June 7, 1916, in Pekin. He died on Nov. 19, 1974. She also was preceded in death by four brothers.
Surviving are three sons, Allen of Lewistown, William of Ipava and Edward of Canton; one daughter, Etta Hunnicutt of Canton; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Maxine Clause of Havana, Bernice Moomey of Albuquerque, N.M., Hester Saunders of Davenport, Iowa, and Veta Parker of Glasford.
Services were held Saturday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
