Dorothy M. Levingston, 93, a resident of the Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown since 1991, and a long time resident of Lewistown, died at the care center at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 1996.
She was born Nov. 21, 1902, at Summum, the daughter of Charles and Cora Belle Wileman Jones. She married Clifford Vrell in 1921, they divorced. She married Jessie Levingston in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1957. She was also preceded in death by two sons.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Vrell of Lewistown; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She had worked for a number of years at various Lewistown restaurants and last worked at the former Corner Drug Store in Lewistown. She was a member of the Lewistown American Legion Post #1 Auxiliary.
Graveside services were held Tuesday in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown with Rev. Jon Sims officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the “Patient Activity Fund” at the Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.
Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
