Dale R. Leighty, formerly of Vermont, died Jan. 9, 1980, in Whittier, Calif.
Mr. Leighty was born in 1899 near Vermont, the son of Frank and Lillian Dennis Leighty.
He spent his early life in Vermont and moved to Southern California when he was a young man.
Surviving are his wife, Golda, and a stepson, Harold Mills.
