Kelly L. Lawyer Of Vermont Dies

Kelly L. Lawyer, 67, of rural Vermont, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1977, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Mr. Lawyer was born Feb. 1, 1910, at Hale, Mo., the son of Arthur and Phoebe Easley Lawyer. On Feb. 23, 1931, he married Mary Elizabeth Turkleson, at Palmyra, Mo.

He resided near Mexico, Mo., until 1947. He lived in the Bardolph area for 10 years and the past 15 years near Industry. He was a member of the Eldorado Township Board and was a Democratic committeeman.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Sterling (Mary Lee) Nichols of Macomb; two sons, Duane of Peoria and Glen of Adair; four grandchildren; two brothers, Mark V. of Industry and Dwight A. of Ephrata, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Lee (Lois) Books of Quincy, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant daughter.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Clugston Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Wilbur Payne officiating. Burial was in Industry Cemetery.
