VeteranRobert G. LaRue Dies In Florida

Funeral services for Robert G. LaRue, 66, of Maitland, Fla., formerly of Ipava, were conducted Friday at Milton, Pa.

Mr. LaRue died Monday, March 16, in a veterans hospital in Gainesville, Fla.

He was born Feb. 27, 1904, near Ipava to Samuel and Josephine David LaRue. He was married to Ruth Benage, who survives.

He was a veteran of World War II and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel from the armed services.

In addition to his widow surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Martha White of Peoria, Mrs. Mary Widemer of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Cornelia Lane of Jacksonville and Mrs. Grace Russell of Chillicothe, Mo.; and three brothers Harry of Smith River, Calif., and James and Frank of Ipava. One brother and one sister are deceased.
