Graveside services for Mrs. Josephine K. Lehow of Peoria, formerly of Vermont, will be held this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in Vermont Cemetery. The Rev. E. E. Catlin will officiate. Mrs. Lehow died at 12:20 a.m. Monday in Methodist Hospital at Peoria, where she had been a patient 17 days.
She had been a resident of Peoria the past 35 years, and she was a registered nurse.
Mrs. Lehow was born at Vermont Aug. 1, 1876 to David and Sarah Jane Bennett Kirkbride. She was married at Vermont in September, 1899, to Fred B. Lehow who died in 1929. Mrs. Lehow was a 50-year member of Crescent Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
One son, Lucian K. Lehow of Pekin survives. Five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
The Kost Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
