Marion Linebaugh Died Thursday In Peoria Hospital

Francis Marion Linebaugh, a deacon in the Christian church in Lewistown and a member of the Woodman lodge, died at 2:15 o’clock last Thursday afternoon at the St. Francis hospital in Peoria. He has been ill for a long time undergoing his second operation a few days ago.

He was born in this state, Aug. 20, 1858, making him 71 years of age at the time of his death. He was a son of John and Rebecca (Butler) Linebaugh. He married Rachel Jane Wright on August 21, 1879, and she is still living.

Surviving children are Mrs. Sylvia Onion, Lewistown; Archie Linebaugh, Summum; and Dr. B. C. Linebaugh, Pleasant Grove, Utah. James Linebaugh, Lewistown, is a brother, while another brother, John is dead. One sister, Mrs. Cynthia Atwater, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Linebaugh moved from his farm near Summum to Lewistown in 1913.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian church in Lewistown, with the Rev. H. C. Riechel, officiating. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
